Bosch ConnectedWorld 2019 – May 15-16

Bosch ConnectedWorld is an annual event that celebrates the Internet of Things (IoT). Presented by the Bosch Group, the sixth annual conference takes place on May 15-16, 2019 at STATION-Berlin.

Bosch ConnectedWorld’s purpose is to provide the inspiration, education, and connections you need to thrive in IoT. This February, we hosted more than 140 speakers on four stages presenting IoT trends and implementations in front of more than 3,800 conference and hackathon participants.

Through inspiring keynotes, three session tracks, a huge IoT exhibition, a Meet-up stage, a hackathon, and lots of networking opportunities, the attendees learned how the Bosch ConnectedWorld experience, and especially IoT, is truly remarkable.

STATION-Berlin

This year’s conference venue is one of the most extraordinary locations in Europe. Situated at the heart of Germany’s capital, STATION-Berlin boasts superb accessibility, size, technological resources and architecture. In addition, its protected status as a historic landmark collectively makes this site a national and international hotspot.

Built in 1875, the station was the starting point of the new Berlin – Dresden railway line. The site was rededicated as a trade center in 1907, supplying Berlin for the next 90 years with packages and goods imported from all over the world. Today, STATION-Berlin enjoys its place in the city as a hub for innovative ideas, ingenious products, and incomparable conferences and exhibitions.

Kühlhaus Berlin

This year’s BCX location is the Kühlhaus Berlin. For the first time, the BCX takes place in its own location. The Kühlhaus Berlin is an industrial monument, and cultural landmark in the heart of Berlin. Due to the unique pre-war architecture the Kühlhaus Berlin is a dynamic place which constantly reinvents itself.

The Kühlhaus Berlin was built in 1901, along with the rail station Gleisdreieck, and the biggest cold warehouse in Europe at that time. Since the nineties, the Kühlhaus Berlin is a historic landmark and impressive event location offering a multitude of extraordinary rooms suitable for workshops, exhibitions and conferences. It is a platform for being creative and developing new outstanding ideas.
